Parent Phonics @ Mattersey
Mattersey pupils have been learning phonics at school this month alongside their parents. Actions, sounds and letter formation have been covered during recent sessions in school. Parents, children and teachers have been singing Jolly Phonics songs together. The children have absolutely loved having their parents present as they have learnt - seeing the pride in their adult’s faces. After all that learning teachers and parents have met to discuss how parents can support their children at home and where more ideas can be found.
